Harlem Globetrotter makes 300-foot high shot

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- The Harlem Globetrotters set a record on Thursday by making the team's highest basketball shot in history.

The improbable shot was made from the cable car that leads to the top of Stone Mountain. Globe Trotter Buckets Blakes was strapped into the cable car as he leaned out to make the shot through a basketball hoop on the pavement below.

"Yeah! If you think that was cool, you should come to one of our games!" Blakes said to the camera after the successful shot.

The Globetrotters are celebrating 90 years of sports entertainment with a show at Philips Arena Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13. Both shows start at 1 p.m.
