ADOPT A PET: Meet Bella | Pets
DECATUR, Ga. - If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half chewed shoe or overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a "companion" for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
Bella is a one-year-old Terrier mix. According to the Humane Society, she’s very friendly and loving towards everyone she comes in contact with. Bella is eager to have a family of her own. Right now, she’s still a puppy and she needs someone who will train her to become an obedient adult dog. She we need some light training. Bella can be adopted for $175.00 and is a part of the Small Dog Adoption program at PAWS.
If one should choose to adopt a pet from PAWS Atlanta, the adoption fee includes: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization. And, a list of the basic requirements for adoption can be found here. PAWS Atlanta is located at 5287 Covington Highway in Decatur.
