LITHONIA, Ga. -- Like a flashback to Black Friday, shoppers barrelled through the doors at Stonecrest Mall early Friday morning to be among the first to buy the new Nike Air Michael Jordan 11 Concords.
The trouble was, the mall wasn't open yet.
DeKalb Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said at about 6 a.m. a large crowd that had been waiting outside "became unruly" and broke down one of the mall entrances.

At least three people were arrested, according to DeKalb authorities. Colia Cooke, 18, and Demontrez Pace, 25, were charged with disorderly conduct. Amisha Worrel, 23, was charged with "creating a hazardous offensive condition" for leaving her kids in the car. Witnesses said she was in line to get the Jordans.
The shoes have sparked similar scenes at shopping malls across the country. Riots broke out at a mall in Austin and police pepper sprayed rowdy crowds in Seattle.
