STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- A flood of pink-clad women and men descended on Stone Mountain Friday morning, braving the chilly conditions for a very important cause.

The 2011 Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3-Day for the Cure began at Stone Mountain Park this morning. Its 2,200 participants, including 11Alive Today anchor Karyn Greer, will take a three-day, 60-mile journey through Metro Atlanta, ending Sunday at Turner Field.
