Tremors were felt as far north as Toronto, as far west as Indianapolis and as far south as Metro Atlanta.

Stone Mountain residents had this to say about the effects of the quake:

Felt a shudder while working at home. Thought it was an A/C ssystem coming on and having problem, but the A/C wasn't blowing. At the bottom of a hill and end of a cul-de-sac, we don't hear traffic, but it sounded like a truck rumbling. Dogs which were sleeping got up and looked around.

I was sitting at my desk and my chair started shaking. I thought maybe a semi was pulling into the parking lot...Guess I was wrong.
