Suspects caught in hotel robbery where man was shot in the head

UPDATE 11:00 AM:Police have captured all three suspects.

UPDATE 10:00 AM: Snellville Police caught two of the three suspects from this morning's shooting/robbery. According to Public Information Officer Captain C. G. Roberts, the stolen car was spotted in a neighborhood off Scenic Highway in Snellville. There was a foot chase where two of the suspects were apprehended without incident. One suspect is still being pursued. Police have K9 officers and a helicopter searching for him on Scenic Highway between Highway 78 and High Point Road.

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Gwinnett County Police Department and the Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene of a shooting at a Days Inn.

A man was shot in the head at the Days Inn at 2006 Glenn Club Drive. The victim was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville for treatment. Police say he's in grave condition.

Police say a group of men forced their way inside room 116 at the hotel and shot a man in the head. Three other people in the home were not hurt.

The attackers stole the victim's 1999 Black Lexus G3 300 with NC plates BJC2411.

The guests in the room next door hear the commotion and called the front desk who called 911. There is no known connection between the victims and the suspects at this time and police don't know why this particular room was targeted.
