LITHONIA | Missing man found, Mattie's Call cancelled | News

LITHONIA, Ga. -- DeKalb County police have cancelled a Mattie's Call for a missing 76-year-old man who has Alzheimer's disease.

Rufus Holcomb was found unharmed at a daycare center on North Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston at about 2 p.m. Friday. Employees at the Kids World Daycare spotted him and called police.

He disappeared from his home on Eagle Rise at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Police were notified that he was missing at about 2 a.m. Friday.

Police believe Holcomb may have wandered away from the house. Reverse 911 calls were issued throughout the area where he was last seen.
