Jewish leaders are criticizing the ceremony. Bill Nigut of the Anti-Defamation League says the ceremony is "horrifying simply because it's completely inappropriate and really awful."

Rabbi David Shiff of Congregation Beth Hallel said, "Ralph Messer in no way represents Messianic Judaism. He is not affiliated with with any branch of Messianic Judaism. I found the presenation to be repulsive and inappropriate."

Four former church members sued Long in late 2010 claiming he sexually coerced them. He settled the lawsuit in May.

Staff for Long and Messer did not immediately return calls seeking comment.

Watch as the "king" is crowned at around the 5-minute mark.
