11Alive morning team gives teachers 'Our Favorite Things'

ATLANTA -- 11Alive's morning team rolled out the red carpet Monday morning to honor Metro Atlanta's "Class Act" teachers. The 31 men and women were nominated by their peers and students for special recognition for their committment to their classes and students.

On Monday, the 31 educators, their principals and some family and friends joined the 11Alive morning team as a live studio audience.

For a Random Act of Kindness, they all received some of our anchors' favorite things:

From Chesley and Men's Warehouse: a stylish matching tie and pocket square.

From Karyn and Spa Sydell: a gift certificate for much-deserved pampering.
