Atlanta, GA--  DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer Burrell Ellis, along with local community partners Feed the Hungry Foundation, Inc., The HoneyBaked Ham Company, Publix and Wayfield Foods, will donate food items to the food pantry of Project Take Charge, a homeless prevention and emergency assistance program sponsored by Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM) on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 10:30 a.m. at Belvedere United Methodist Church, 2915 Midway Rd. in Decatur.

DCM, a community-based nonprofit organization, provides programs and services to prevent and alleviate homelessness among families.  DCM’s Project Take Charge program assists DeKalb County residents in imminent danger of losing their home or utility service, and operates as an emergency food pantry and food cooperative for low-income households.
