WHAT: 

Atlanta nonprofit, the Center for Black Women's Wellness (CBWW), presents its 3rd Annual Women's Health Expo. This FREE event delivers CBWW's roster of health services, resources and medical expertise into the community itself. CBWW is pleased to bring this year's event to Big Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia which will empower CBWW to have a greater impact and interaction with its constituents in DeKalb County.

Events taking place at the Women's Health Expo on November 6, 2010:

  • Educational Workshops on key health issues disproportionately affecting African American women and interactive health panels
  • Fashion show highlighting children, teen, and adult fashions
  • Image Consulting and Free Makeovers for early attendees
  • Vital Health Screenings including cholesterol, HIV testing, and mammograms
  • Community Door Prizes for attendees who share the word and bring the most guests to learn about health
  • Fitness Action Plans with Atlanta-based fitness professionals designed to motivate
  • Interactive Children's Fitness Activities provided by C.H.O.I.C.E.S.
  • Community Organizations and Sponsor Booths
