Atlanta, GA (Atlanta Business Chronicle) --The Georgia Tech-based Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) will branch out to a new facility at The University of Georgia-Gwinnett Campus.

Started in 1980, ATDC has become a start-up engine for economic and business development in Georgia. The new Gwinnett location will bring more technology-based economic development to Gwinnett and provide educational programming and consulting for existing and potential entrepreneurs outside the ATDC’s existing Midtown location.

The University of Georgia Gwinnett campus already offers graduate degrees, continuing education opportunities and services of its Small Business Development Center.

“Gwinnett has been working for years to bring a strong start-up program to its community,” said Jim Maran, president and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber, in a statement. “The ATDC, together with Partnership Gwinnett’s dedicated focus on start-ups and small business, will provide an even stronger environment to foster organic growth and the entrepreneurial foundation for which Gwinnett is already so well known.”
